We are seeing drastic increase in the WLAN deployment, spurred on by affordable COTS and encouraged by ISP and government initiatives. With the increase in deployment comes increased threat exposure.
In this presentation, jointly organised by SIG^2 and SCS (Singapore Computer Society) Security SIG, we would like to raise awareness on issues pertaining to WLAN deployment. Everyone has heard of the vulnerabilities of WLAN and how software can be easily downloaded to sniff and even break encrypted traffic. The speakers will give a live demonstration of how WLAN can be compromised.
