The following are members of the current committee of SIG^2.

Aloysius Cheang
President
|
 |
Aloysius is a computer scientist engaging in computer security research, development and consultancy with DSO National Laboratories. He is often recognized as an Infosec evangelist in the island nation. Aloysius is a founding member of SIG^2 (http://www.security.org.sg) and has been her president for the past 2 terms. He also served on board as a founding member in the National BCP/DR, National Network Security Standards and National Security Assurance working groups. At the same time, He is a contributor and country representative to ISO/IEC/JTC 1/SC 27, which publishes international security standards such as ISO17799. Aloysius also advises various education institutes, that deliver security courses. In the course of his undertakings, he is featured regularly in the media and spoke frequently at various local and international IT security conferences, seminars and workshops.
Aloysius specializes in security of pervasive computing, in particularly, network security, mobile security and mobile commerce security. He also have extensive experience in business continuity and incident handling, which he puts to good use by applying these concepts in National critical infrastructure protection.
Aloysius holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and is one of the pioneer Sairs GNU Linux Certified Professional (LCP). He also held the SANS GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification since 2000.

Tan Chew Keong
Vice-President

|
Chew Keong is a consultant working with Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore.
Besides his portfolio as the Vice-President of SIG^2, he also leads the SIG^2's G-TEC lab.
Using the lab, he pursues his interest in reverse
engineering, exploit code development, rootkit analysis, device driver
coding and web application testing with his fellow enthusiasts.
Chew Keong holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the National
University of Singapore and a Master's Degree in Computer Networks from
the University of Essex (UK).

Samuel Lee
Secretary
|
|
Coming as the most non-InfoSec trained member of the committee, Samuel is
now a Consultant with Sensecurity Institute having previously been the
Assistant Director of Marketing for this local IT Security research and
training organisation. Samuel has been responsible for helping the
Sensecurity Institute Security Practitioner (SISP) certification programme
become the 1st IT certification programme developed outside the United
States of America to be now accredited and internationally recognised by a
US based accreditation body.
Samuel has also spoken at several talks and conferences including the recent
Enterprise Security Conference in Jul 03. Topics often covered are
predominately more non-technical in nature and targeted at end users and
management.
Samuel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Management with many years of
experience in the Tourism industry before joining Sensecurity Institute.

Ong Geok Meng
Vice-Secretary

Geok Meng, CISSP, is in his second term as secretary of SIG2. Before taking on his current management role in the field of IT security, he specialized in network and systems security research, as an R&D engineer.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the School of Computing at National University of Singapore.

Kan Tat Wee
Treasurer

|
Tat Wee is currently with Deutsche Bank, one of the world's largest retail and investment banks. His area of expertise includes enterprise wide SIEM deployment, HIDS, HIPS, NIDS, NIPS, Anti-Phishing, Vulnerability Management, Fraud Analysis, Forensics, Malware, Incident Response/Management, Enterprise Wireless Monitoring and more.
Tat Wee practises ITIL and is familiar with BS7799 compliance and audit. He has been an avid Linux user and administrator for over a decade and is also involved in networks architecture and design. A manager with deep technical background, Tat Wee is known for his people management skills and his ability to understand business needs. He holds numerous certifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP, GCIH, ITIL etc.

Wally Lee

Wally is the co-founder and Principal Consultant of Infinitum Security,
where he specializes in network and systems security. Wally holds the
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) title and has
more than 7 years' experience in the IT security field. He has provided IT
security consultancy and training for major financial institutions,
telecommunication companies, government and defense agencies and
multinationals. As a recognized resource of cutting edge topics, he has
provided in-depth training in various security management systems to law
enforcement agencies. Wally is a regular speaker at various regional IT
security seminars and conferences. Wally is frequently interviewed by the
media and has appeared on StarTV, Channel News Asia, Media Corporation of
Singapore, C|Net and the Straits Times.

Vincent Leong
Committee Member

|
Vincent Leong currently works at the Infocomm Security Division of IDA
(Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore). Besides his primary role as
a consultant, contributing in areas of policy developments, security
awareness training, and consultancy services, he also has a keen interest
in new technologies as well as emerging developments in the infosec
community. His work involves research of practical implementation of
policies-inline security , which includes policies enhancements, risk
assessment, threats & vulnerability studies, and security appliances.
Vincent graduated from the Nanyang Technological University of
Singapore, majoring in Communications Engineering. His vast experience has
brought with him domains of knowledge from Secure Web Application and WAP
(Wireless Application Protocol) developments, with DSTA; to VoIP (Voice
over IP) implementation with a Dot-Com. Previously, he was with Network
Appliance, Inc. providing support for Storage Virtualisation, in Silicon
Valley HQ as well as at the Singapore Global Support Center. His
free-time research areas includes wireless networks, GRPS, FSO, Encryption,
PKI, and Honeypots. With the convergence of technologies, he is unifying
this knowledge to be a Security Evangelist, and he is currently undergoing
SANS GSEC Certification.

Tan Jin Yean

Jin Yean graduated from the Engineering Faculty of National University of
Singapore and is a Network Specialist with Data Storage Institute. Besides his day job,
he lives by the handle - snooq, in the cyberworld. His interest area is vulnerability
research and exploit development.

Khoh Chih Jeun Max

Chih Jeun is with the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, where he
provides expertise in risk management, security assessment and incident
handling. He has more than 4 year's of working experience in IS security
and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a
Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).
